It was exciting on Friday to work as a PD (Producer/Director) Runner for Big Deal Films. The project was part of the CBBC strand My Life. Working with PD Bali Khalsa, my responsibilities included:
- Working with PD and Contribs.
- Keeping interview notes (camera angle changes, questions asked, the discussions in between questions).
- Changing camera lenses, setting up tripod, carrying equipment.
- Driving PD between Edinburgh locations.
- Location/shot suggestions.
- Discussing filming permissions with business owners.
It was a really hectic and enjoyable day and I look forward to seeing the finished programme when it airs.
